DevOps is what makes agile development possible and practical. It concerns itself with the automation of application building, testing and deployment (Dev) as well as with system provisioning and configuration (Ops). It interacts with Configuration Management, Security, Reporting, Monitoring, Version Control, <and the list goes on>.As you can understand from this definition it is a wide field and there are plenty of tools out there that can help you fill in the puzzle.
